About this door
The Oak Shaker Frosted Glazed door from LPD Doors is a great option for those looking at adding a contemporary twist to any home.
The simple design of these oak doors is complemented with the attractive grain in the timber to add character and depth. With four central glazed panels, surrounded by chunking stiles and rails, these are a shaker style door, meaning clean lines.
With the door built around the glazing apertures, the door benefits from a simplistic look without the need for a traditional timber beading around each panel.
With obscure glazing, these glazed internal doors allow light to pass between rooms whilst maintaining a degree of privacy.
Also available as a non-fire door and multiple glazed versions, this range allows you to complete the look throughout the property.
Glazing
These doors are supplied pre-glazed with an obscure toughened safety glass.

Custom Sizes
On this product, there is an option to have the door made to a custom size.
The maximum dimensions we can offer would be 900mm (35 1/2") x 2040mm (80 1/4"). Anything outside of these measurements may require an additional charge or in some cases may not be able to be manufactured, please call us on 01142557800 before placing your order.
Lead times for the manufacture of custom sized products are approx. 16-20 weeks. There is an additional charge for this service (see size dropdown box for details).
Please be aware that during certain times of the year, such as Christmas, festive and religious periods, this lead time may increase by up to 4 weeks.
Decoration and Finishing - Internal Oak Doors
Supplied unfinished, these doors are able to take a stain or paint finish.
The correct storage, fitting, and finishing of your new doors are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.
Before finishing your door, we would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.
What is Engineered Timber?
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
