About this door

These Hemlock Georgian Panel Pairs would be an ideal solution for anyone who would like to open up a room and allow extra light to flow through from room to room. All doors have beading cut, mitred and pinned. They come as a 44mm thick and can be used internally or externally

These french doors are manufactured from solid hemlock in the United Kingdom using traditional mortice & tenon, wedged and glued construction.

If requested, the handings on these pairs can be specified to the your preferences - it is very important to specify this at the point of order, otherwise, the doors will be supplied with the above handing.

Glazing

Supplied ready to glaze with a range of glass options available, these doors will accept a 4/6/4 cavity double glazed unit.

Please Note: Unless otherwise instructed, if purchasing glass, this may be supplied either temporarily glazed or packaged separately.

These doors are listed as the TOTAL size for the pair of doors rather than the size of each door leaf.

These doors may be despatched with extended stiles (horns) to ensure protection during transit & storage. They can easily be removed prior to installation.

This door comes with the optional choice of glazing. We order the glass in especially for you, so it will add a small amount of time to the overall manufacturing lead times.

At present, most glazing options are taking between 3 - 10 working days (approx) to arrive into us.

Where available, specialist glass such as stained, leaded, or encapsulated glass can take up to 6 weeks; however, we think it's worth the wait! 

It's important to factor in these lead times, as once ordered, we are unable to cancel or refund the glazing. 

On this product, there is an option to have the door made to a custom size

The maximum dimensions we can offer would be 1676mm (66") x 2132mm (Approx 84"). Anything outside of these measurements may require an additional charge or in some cases may not be able to be manufactured, please call us on 01142557800 before placing your order. 

Lead times for the manufacture of these custom-sized products are approximately five to seven weeks. There is an additional charge for this service (see size dropdown box for details).

Please be aware that during certain times of the year, such as Christmas, festive and religious periods, this lead time may increase.

Manufactured from specially selected timbers, these doors are supplied ready for finishing. The doors are suitable for a paint finish.

The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.

Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or expand. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.

As ready-to-finish doors, a modicum of preparation may be required on-site, pin-holes and loose knots may need filling and light sanding may be required before applying a finish to your doors.

These doors are FSC certified - Chain of custody certification ensures that the door can be tracked from the day it's manufactured to the point of delivery and is produced from certified materials. FSC is the mark of responsible forestry.
