The External Hemlock Stable is a traditional stable door in an attractive cottage style, popular with those looking for a flexible entranceway.
Creating an additional degree of flexibility with the stable style, it allows you to open the top half of the door, whilst keeping the bottom half closed - ideal for when you want to enjoy the summer weather but keep your animals or children inside!
The External Hemlock Stable Door is manufactured from solid hemlock in the United Kingdom using traditional stub mortice & tenon, wedged and glued construction.

This door is suitable for inward-opening applications only.
These doors may be despatched with extended stiles (horns) to ensure protection during transit & storage. They can easily be removed prior to installation.

On this product, there is an option to have the door made to a custom size.
The maximum dimensions we can offer would be 915mm (36") x 2133mm (84"). Anything outside of these measurements may require an additional charge or in some cases may not be able to be manufactured, please call us on 01142557800 before placing your order.

Decoration and Finishing - External Hemlock
Manufactured from specially selected timbers, these doors are supplied ready for finishing. The doors are suitable for a paint finish.
The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or expand. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.
As ready-to-finish doors, a modicum of preparation may be required on-site, pin-holes and loose knots may need filling and light sanding may be required before applying a finish to your doors.
