About this door
The Internal Oak Chiswick is an elegantly designed, versatile internal glazed door which would work well in both traditional and contemporary properties.
As opposed to the majority of internal doors which finish at 35mm thick, this range is 40mm thick for added stability and to give an extra aura of quality.
With an individual large glazing aperture, glazed with a clear bevelled glass, above a smaller raised and fielded lower panel this is a timelessly popular design. Allowing light to pass between rooms and creating a fantastic visual, this door will enhance aesthetics regardless of your particular style of interior design.
With complementary solid panelled doors, fire doors and door pair options, this range allows you to complete the look throughout the property.
Glazing
These doors are supplied pre-glazed with clear bevelled safety glass.

Decoration and Finishing - Pre-Finished Oak
Supplied pre-finished with a clear satin lacquer, these doors are factory finished. This requires no further decorating on site and creates a fantastic look which really does show off the quality of the oak veneer.
The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Before finishing your door, we would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.

What is Engineered Timber?
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
