A style very popular during its time, these 1930's style doors consists of three lower flat panels and one top flat panel. Often used within townhouses, terraces and cottages, these doors are supplied unfinished to enable you to achieve a style required to suit the property.
We've put together this combination of 2 individual doors and a pair maker (optional) for your ultimate convenience! Now you can create a pair of doors in your favourite styles, ideal for those wishing to complement their existing doors.
Pair maker
These door pairs can be fitted with or without the optional pair maker. Using the pair maker adds 10mm to the tight sizes listed and not using it means that the doors will butt together with square meeting stiles. The pair maker may need to be finished and adjusted on-site to match your chosen doors.

Things we thought you may need to know!
Please note that these are two separate doors combined as a pair. We cannot assure an exact colour match, as they feature authentic wood veneers, and the grain will naturally differ.
A modicum of joinery work may be required to fit the pair maker.
Using the pair maker adds 10mm to the overall listed size, the doors may be trimmed to accommodate this, please check BEFORE making alterations.
Decoration and Finishing - Internal Primed Doors
This door is supplied pre-primed, meaning that it has been factory treated with a base coat.
This door will require further topcoats of a paint product in order to finish the door, it's recommended that decoration is performed straight away.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.
Before finishing your door, we would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.

What is Engineered Timber?
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
