About this door
The Oak Spencer is a stylish oak glazed door with a great looking walnut inlay. An unfussy flush door with elegant inlay and glazing aperture, this door offers a different look to your run of the mill entranceway.
A single large glazing aperture in the centre of the door adds visual interest, with a raised beading perfectly framing the glass.
Manufactured with a semi-solid engineered core, these doors have a weighty feel with 10mm solid oak lippings.
This range of doors also features a solid panelled and fire door version to give your home a consistent look throughout.
Glazing
These doors are pre-glazed with a clear safety glass, allowing light to pass between rooms and creating a great feature.
Decoration and Finishing - Pre-Finished Oak
Supplied pre-finished with a clear satin lacquer, these doors are factory finished. This requires no further decorating on site and creates a fantastic look which really does show off the quality of the oak veneer.
The correct storage, fitting and finishing of your new door/s are very important factors in getting the best out of your purchase.
Before finishing your door, we would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.

What is Engineered Timber?
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
