About this door

The White Primed Contemporary 4 Light Glazed door from LPD Doors is a solid core contemporary glazed white primed door.

Ideal for an apartment or contemporary home setting, this is a unique twist on a continuously popular style within the range and compliments a large number of styles due to it's simplistic and elegant nature.

Four glazing apertures are framed with chunky stiles and rails, the door has clean lines with a more traditional beading around the glass. With frosted glass featuring a clear border, this style allows light to pass between rooms but with a degree of privacy.

The range includes a matching solid panelled door, fire door and bi-folding door to allow you to complete the look throughout your home.

Glazing

This glazed door is pre-glazed with a frosted toughened safety glass with a clear border. This glass option allows the light to flow from room to room, but with a degree of privacy.

Doors look great fitted.....the image doesn't show it well, but the frost has a bordered pattern. Very nice. A better online image would help future customers

Very pleased, ticks all my boxes. The quality is very good.

This door is supplied pre-primed, meaning that it has been factory treated with a base coat.

This door will require further topcoats of a paint product in order to finish the door, it's recommended that decoration is performed straight away.

Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.

Before finishing your door, we would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.

These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.

The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.

They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
