About this door
The White Primed DX 30s offers a modern twist to a traditional door style. Ideally suited to both traditional and modern dwellings, this door offers an attractive and authentic "period" design at an affordable price.
A style very popular during its time, this 1930s internal door consists of three lower flat panels and one top flat panel. Often used within townhouses, terraces and cottages, these doors are supplied unfinished to enable you to achieve a style required to suit the property.
With an overtly nostalgic flavour in terms of styling, the lack of fuss and sleek lines of these doors will create a traditional and authentic look in a 1930's style home. Having often been painted white in times gone by, these internal doors are supplied white primed to allow you to decorate to your tastes.
This range features a matching fire door option, to allow you to complete the look throughout the property.

Decoration and Finishing - Internal Primed Doors
This door is supplied pre-primed, meaning that it has been factory treated with a base coat.
This door will require further topcoats of a paint product in order to finish the door, it's recommended that decoration is performed straight away.
Please always avoid the use of water-based finishing products as this may cause the door to bow, warp or delaminate. Using these types of products will invalidate your guarantee.
Before finishing your door, we would always recommend reading our Door Care information which can be viewed by clicking here, along with any additional manufacturer's documentation supplied with the door itself.

What is Engineered Timber?
These doors are manufactured using laminated veneered lumber (LVL). LVL or more commonly known as “engineered timber” is a modern method of construction that is economical with the use of natural timber resources.
The main parts & rails of the door are usually constructed using solid strips/blocks of timber (some internals may contain a laminated board and/or particleboard), which are then glued and then clamped together.
They are then faced with a veneer and edged with a solid timber “lipping”. The benefits of using engineered construction doors over more traditional methods are that it is far more unlikely to twist or split (we do not get problems with panels splitting) and possibly the most important reason is that it is much more eco-friendly!
